The first printed edition of the "Lightning Math Mastery "was first published in 1975. As an engineering instructor emeritus at the Holy Angel University in the Philippines, Pangilinan migrated and later became a U.S. citizen and was granted an emeritus membership of the Mathematical Association of America for at about 35 years. He is a registered P.E. and also a member of AISC.
